# Tonight’s live boxing results: Valdez vs. Wilson
Today, Oscar Valdez (31-2, 23 KOs) faces Liam Wilson (13-2, 7 KOs) for the interim WBO super featherweight title at Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona on ESPN+ and will be aired live.
The preliminary fights start at 6:10pm ET / 3:10pm PT on ESPN+. Updates and results for tonight can be found below.
Undefeated light welterweight Lindolfo Delgado (20-0, 15 KOs) won by knockout in the 7th round against Carlos Sanchez (25 wins, 3 losses, 19 KOs).
Delgado, a 2016 Olympian, landed a short right hand on Sanchez’s jaw in the seventh round, sending him crashing to the canvas. The fight was stopped, with a time of 0:48.
2020 Olympic Heavyweight Richard Torres Jr. (9 wins, 0 losses, 9 KOs) defeated 41-year-old veteran Donald Hainsworth (18 wins, 9 losses, 1 draw, 16 KOs) by KO in the first round.
Torres, 24, showcased excellent footwork and power as he dominated Hainsworth, preventing any counterattacks and landing significant shots. The fight was stopped by the referee as Torres overwhelmed Hainsworth.
Torres Jr. needs to work on his pacing to avoid getting tired quickly in fights. Given his size, he may need to consider moving down to cruiserweight or bridgerweight due to his struggles against larger opponents in the past.
Lightweight prospect Emiliano Vargas (9 wins, 0 losses, 7 KOs) lost to Nelson Hampton (10 wins, 9 losses, 6 KOs) by unanimous decision in 6 rounds. The judges scored it 60-54, 60-54, 60-54 in favor of Hampton.
Undefeated middleweight Sergio Rodriguez (11 wins, 0 losses, 1 draw, 8 KOs) secured a victory against Sunny Duversonne (12 wins, 7 losses, 2 draws, 9 KOs) via unanimous decision in 6 rounds. The judges scored it 60-54, 59-55, 59-55.
