Following UFC Atlantic City, ten fighters, including former middleweight champions Chris Weidman and Bruno Silva, need medical approval to compete again.
Weidman and Silva were involved in a match that ended in a technical decision after Silva received repeated eye pokes. Now, Silva must seek medical clearance for eye treatment and undergo a CT scan after his loss to Weidman.
Main event winner Manon Fiorotto also requires medical clearance after her dominant win over Erin Blanchfield. Fiorotto was taken to the hospital post-fight, increasing her chances of winning the flyweight title.
UFC Atlantic City was held at Boardwalk Hall in New Jersey and was televised live on ESPN.
