The UFC is making a comeback to Kentucky after more than ten years.

The leading MMA organization has confirmed its return to Louisville, Kentucky for a fight night event scheduled for June 8th at the KFC Yum! Center.

This will mark the third UFC gathering in Kentucky. The first one took place at UFC on Versus 3 in 2011, also at the KFC Yum! Center, featuring a welterweight clash between Diego Sanchez and Martin Kampmann as the main event. The most recent event in the state was in 2013 at UFC Fight for the Troops 3 in Fort Campbell, highlighted by a middleweight battle between Tim Kennedy and Rafael Natal.

The fight night card for this event does not have a main event confirmed yet. However, some of the anticipated matches include a bantamweight face-off between Raul Rosas Jr. and Ricky Turcios, a welterweight fight between Punahele Soriano and Miguel Baeza, and a strawweight bout featuring Eduarda Moura. Several other fights have already been announced, including a middleweight showdown involving Dennis Gomez, Julian Marquez, and Zach Reese, as well as a bantamweight duel between Cody Stamann and Taylor Lapilas.
