WWE is set to receive a combination of cash and non-cash rewards for selecting Las Vegas over Minnesota as the host city for WrestleMania 41. The decision was made after Las Vegas emerged as a preferred choice over Minnesota. This significant move was discussed in TKO’s first-quarter earnings call on May 8, during which CFO Andrew Schleimer underscored the crucial role of site fees. Schleimer highlighted that WrestleMania 41’s package will encompass a substantial payment along with various other perks.
Furthermore, Schleimer revealed that WWE Elimination Chamber: Perth secured a substantial site fee, marking it as WWE’s highest ever, second only to premium live events organized in Saudi Arabia. The relocation from Minnesota to Las Vegas was attributed to a strategic change under new ownership, as per the Minnesota SE president.
