Wheeler Yuta is still out of action due to an injury and has been unable to compete for quite some time. The Ring of Honor Pure Champion’s last match was on the January 12 episode of AEW Rampage, where he faced Eddie Kingston for the Triple Crown Championship. Since that defeat, Yuta has been missing from TV appearances and was even replaced in a CMLL match on March 29.
As reported by Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp, Yuta has been dealing with “concussion symptoms” for an extended period, contrary to the initial hopes of a swift recovery. There is currently no specified timeline for his return to All Elite Wrestling.
