Following their impressive performances at UFC 300, Jiri Prochazka and Alex Pereira might be gearing up for a rematch in the summer. Pereira swiftly defeated Jamahal Hill with a knockout in just three minutes during the first round, while Prochazka’s victory over Aleksandar Rakic, although longer and messier, still resulted in a KO win and a $300,000 performance bonus.

Despite both fighters recently vying for the vacant title in November 2023, Pereira hinted in a recent interview that a rematch with Prochazka could be on the horizon, suggesting that Prochazka could potentially become the No. 1 contender for being ready to fight.

In response, Prochazka indicated his readiness to return to the octagon as early as June to secure a title fight, despite no official word from the UFC regarding the potential matchup. Both fighters seem eager to face each other again, with Prochazka feeling confident in his ability to emerge victorious over Pereira if they meet once more.

After gaining a new following post UFC 300, a rematch between Prochazka and Pereira appears to be a promising option for the UFC. Prochazka is up for the challenge and is willing to compete in July, August, or even October to ensure the much-anticipated rematch takes place. It now rests on the UFC to confirm the bout, with both fighters enthusiastic about the possibility.
