Logan Paul has swiftly climbed the ranks in the WWE, becoming the United States Champion after just seven matches. His success is partly attributed to Shane “Hurricane” Helms, a WWE veteran and behind-the-scenes producer. Helms recently shared his experience of mentoring Paul right from the start on the “Behind the Turnbuckle” podcast, labeling the training of the occasional boxer as “amazing.” Initially, Helms thought it would be a one-time thing to prepare Paul for his debut match, teaming up with The Miz against Rey and Dominik Mysterio at WrestleMania 38.

“I thought that would be it, but he’s serious,” Helms remarked. “He’s committed to this. He’s signed a talent contract and is really dedicated. I have to be equally invested because I am present for all the training sessions. Logan truly wants this. He’s attentive and receptive. Compared to others I’ve trained, if they were as focused as Logan, my job would have been much easier. He absorbs everything.”
Helms revealed that he frequently communicates with Paul and assigns the young talent to watch at least 30 minutes of wrestling every week for analysis and discussion. He stated that Paul’s dedication as a talent is exemplary.

Paul’s upcoming match is scheduled in less than two weeks in Saudi Arabia, where he will challenge Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship at King & Queen of the Ring, possibly putting his United States title on the line as well.
