Matt Brown, also known as ‘The Immortal,’ recently retired from professional mixed martial arts after competing in 43 fights over almost 20 years. Although he didn’t receive the usual performance bonus, Brown was pleasantly surprised when the UFC honored him during a recent event. Brown shared this heartwarming experience on social media and also talked about it on The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani. His final fight, in which he scored a first-round knockout victory, took place in May 2023. During his career, Brown achieved a MMA record of 24-19, including 17 wins in the UFC.
