Tonight, a Triple Threat Number One Contenders match will determine the next challenger for the North American Championship held by Oba Femi. Wes Lee, Josh Briggs, and Joe Coffey from Gallus will compete, and the winner will get a shot at the title on “NXT” Battleground on June 9. Joe Coffey is replacing Ivar, who couldn’t compete due to medical reasons following an incident with Lee and Briggs last week.
The qualifiers for the Ladder Match to decide the inaugural North American Women’s Champion at Battleground will also happen tonight. Jaida Parker will face Brinley Reece, while Fallon Henley will take on Thea Hail from Chase U. The victorious contenders will join Lash Legend and Sol Ruca in the Ladder Match after securing their spots last week.
In tag team action, Lola Vice and Shayna Baszler will team up against Natalya and Karmen Petrovic. The tension has been rising between these women, with Vice and Baszler seeking revenge against Natalya and Petrovic following recent attacks and challenges.
