Gegard Mousasi is unhappy with his experience at PFL. Since PFL took over Bellator MMA at the end of 2023, he has faced difficulties with the organization, citing issues like a lack of fights and poor communication. Despite attending a PFL event in Paris where no progress was made in setting up a fight, the former Bellator middleweight champion has had enough.

On “The MMA Hour,” Mousasi expressed his disappointment, feeling undervalued by PFL. He mentioned that his team is contemplating taking legal action against PFL because of the lack of communication and respect he received. Mousasi called out PFL for disregarding his pre-existing contract with Bellator that was signed before the acquisition.

Mousasi raised concerns about PFL’s financial capability to support fighters, hinting that they might not have the means to uphold existing contracts. At the age of 38, Mousasi is hesitant to get involved in legal disputes but stressed his willingness to fight for his rights if needed.

Mousasi stressed the importance of honoring his contract commitments and expressed his desire to resolve the situation amicably without resorting to legal measures.
