A recent report indicates that another wrestler from WWE is approaching the end of their contract. As per details from Fightful Select, Angel Garza’s current contract will conclude on August 1. Negotiations between Garza and WWE have been ongoing, with WWE proposing a new agreement that Garza has yet to agree to.
Angel Garza signed with WWE in 2019 following successful runs in Mexican and American independent wrestling, AAA, and Impact Wrestling. He has held titles such as the WWE Cruiserweight Champion and WWE 24/7 Champion. Garza frequently teams up with his real-life cousin Humberto Carillo, both relatives of the late Hector Garza.
Despite the uncertainty surrounding Garza’s contract, he is still part of upcoming WWE live shows and was last featured on “WWE Smackdown” on May 17. Garza is among several WWE talents whose contracts are coming to an end, along with Ricochet, Chad Gable, and Becky Lynch.
