Despite Davis’s successful fights against notable opponents like Leo Santa Cruz and Ryan Garcia, Spence sees Martin as a unique challenge for the fighter from Baltimore.
Spence pointed out that Davis won’t have the luxury of pacing himself in this match and relying on late-round knockouts. While Spence acknowledges Davis’s skill, he trusts in Martin’s speed, strength, and power to claim the win.
Despite Davis’s reputation for speed and power, Martin is considered a serious threat in this upcoming bout. A potential upset victory by Martin would be a significant moment in the sport of boxing.
