A recent report indicates that Robert “RD” Evans, a former TNA Wrestling official, has made the transition to All Elite Wrestling. Evans, who previously served as the head of the TNA creative team, has now become a part of AEW. He has already been featured in AEW programming, making appearances on AEW Collision and participating in backstage segments. Evans is set to make an appearance at the upcoming AEW Dynamite taping in Des Moines, Iowa.
Reports suggest that Evans decided to leave TNA due to strained relations with the company, which had been causing him frustration in recent weeks. Prior to his time at TNA, Evans was a member of the WWE creative team until 2019 and also had experience as a professional wrestler for promotions like Ring of Honor and Chikara.
In addition to Evans, other TNA staff members have also departed from the organization recently as part of a restructuring process. This includes former Creative Director David Sahadi, who previously held the role of Director of TNA broadcasts.
