The co-main event at ONE 167 is scheduled to take place at the Impact Arena in Bangkok on Saturday morning. Puric appeared fit and weighed in at 134.75lbs, confirming his willingness to go ahead with the fight against Rodtang. Rodtang, a notable earner for the promotion, will forfeit 25 percent of his earnings to Puric. He was previously making 10 million baht (HK$2.1 million) per fight.

Initially, there were doubts about Rodtang’s dedication to the fight, but he later apologized for any concerns caused by his absence and errors. On the other hand, Puric showed great confidence, referring to himself as the “Bosnian bomber” and assuring his fans of his readiness to control the bout.

In the headline match, Tawanchai PKSaenchaigym will defend his featherweight Muay Thai championship against Jo Nattawut in a rematch. Both fighters successfully made weight, with Tawanchai at 155lbs and Nattawut at 152.25lbs. Their previous encounter, contested under kickboxing regulations, ended contentiously, with many believing Nattawut deserved the victory.

Nattawut, ahead of the rematch, expressed his assurance in his preparation and anticipated a fierce battle following Muay Thai guidelines.

Originally slated for 11 matchups, ONE 167 had to remove one fight from the lineup, Liam Harrison’s bantamweight Muay Thai showdown with Katsuni Kitano, as both fighters failed to meet the weight requirement.

The event is set to kick off at 7am local time and will be available for streaming on YouTube in Hong Kong.
