In a rematch held on June 15 in London, Chris Billam-Smith managed to defeat Richard Riakpohre with a unanimous decision. The current WBO cruiserweight champion scored higher than Riakpohre with 116-111, 115-112, and 115-112 in their twelve-round bout at Selhurst Park. This win served as Billam-Smith’s second successful defense of his title and sought to settle the score after he previously lost to Riakpohre in 2019. The match was intense, with both fighters giving their best, but Billam-Smith came out on top in the end.
