During the post-fight press conference, Benavidez discussed his victory despite sustaining cuts and hand injuries. He expressed his willingness to take on any challenger in the light heavyweight division to prove himself as the ‘Mexican Monster.’ The likelihood of a showdown with Canelo or a return to 168 pounds remains uncertain.
