The collaboration between the two champions came after a tense confrontation during the June 19th episode, culminating in a physical altercation involving Cage of Agony. Their teamwork will be tested as they take on Gates of Agony just before their anticipated showdown at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.
In other matches, the Owen Hart Foundation Cup Tournament will progress with Jay White squaring off against Rey Fenix in a quarterfinal bout. Additionally, Toni Storm, Mariah May, and Mina Shirakawa will face off against Saraya, Anna Jay, and Harley Cameron. Storm is gearing up to defend her AEW Women’s World Championship title against Shirakawa at the Forbidden Door event.
