AEW is updating the lineup for the upcoming June 26th episode of AEW Dynamite by adding more matches. One of the main attractions will be MJF, the former world champion, appearing live on the show. This episode will be the last one before AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door on June 30, where MJF is set to battle Hechicero.
MJF had been missing from AEW since Worlds End in December but created a buzz with his return at AEW Double or Nothing. In his comeback match, he emerged victorious against RUSH on the June 19 episode of AEW Dynamite, prompting a challenge from Hechicero for a match at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.
The confirmed matches for the upcoming episode are:
– Owen Hart Foundation Cup Tournament Quarterfinal: Jay White vs. Rey Fenix
– Swerve Strickland & Will Ospreay vs. Gates of Agony
– Toni Storm, Mariah May & Mina Shirakawa vs. Saraya, Anna Jay & Harley Cameron
– MJF making a live appearance
