Drew McIntyre is once again causing a stir in the world of wrestling.
During McIntyre’s world title match against Damian Priest at WWE Clash at the Castle, CM Punk got involved, prompting McIntyre to announce his departure from the company on the June 17 episode of WWE RAW. McIntyre later went on to confront Punk, leaving him battered on the June 21 episode of WWE SmackDown.
In a recent tweet, McIntyre posted a photoshopped image of himself superimposed onto Punk during an interview on The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani. The accompanying caption alluded to Punk’s contentious remarks regarding his exit from AEW, with McIntyre inserting his own circumstances into Punk’s statement.
McIntyre hasn’t held back on social media when it comes to discussing Punk’s time in AEW. He even referenced Punk’s outburst following AEW All Out 2022.
