She recently published her second book, “Our Fight: A Memoir,” and is set to unveil her debut graphic novel titled “Expecting The Unexpected” next month. The graphic novel, to be released by AWA, will showcase illustrations by acclaimed comic book artist Mike Deodato, Jr. Spanning 160 pages, the novel will kick off through a Kickstarter campaign. The plot of “Expecting The Unexpected” centers around a character known as “Mom,” who works as a dangerous assassin concealing firearms within a phony pregnancy belly. The novel guarantees a blend of action, adventure, humor, and love as the character confronts various obstacles. Rousey expressed her enthusiasm for this new project and revealed that the novel takes inspiration from her personal experiences as both a mother and a fighter. Despite stepping away from MMA in 2017 after a defeat to Amanda Nunes, Rousey has found success in the world of professional wrestling, clinching multiple women’s championships in WWE before departing from the organization in 2023.
