Nyla Rose is thankful for the encouragement she’s received.
In April, it was revealed from a 2024 Oklahoma State Athletic Commission meeting that AEW had been warned by the OSAC after a match between Nyla Rose, a transgender wrestler, and Alejandra Lion, her cisgender opponent. The OSAC considered this a breach of their regulations and advised AEW to steer clear of such match-ups to avoid consequences.
In a recent episode of “Close Up w/ Renee Paquette,” Nyla Rose shared her initial feelings about this incident, expressing surprise and appreciating her team for shielding her from the matter. After the news broke, Rose was deeply touched by the outpouring of support from fans and colleagues. She jokingly mentioned feeling a bit exasperated as the overwhelming support led her to switch from a villainous role to a more positive one.
In general, Nyla Rose is grateful for the kindness shown by her fans and the support they’ve offered her during tough moments.
