Conor McGregor was all set to make his UFC return this Saturday in Las Vegas. However, a broken toe sidelined him from the event. Instead of headlining UFC 303 against Michael Chandler, McGregor is now an observer as the light heavyweight title rematch takes center stage. McGregor turned to Twitter to express his feelings, saying, “I can’t deny the deep pain I’m feeling right now watching fight week unfold. It’s a deeply emotional struggle. Thank you for the supportive messages from my colleagues and fans.”

There hasn’t been a new date set for the fight against Chandler, but McGregor is eyeing a comeback in August or September. This will be his first fight in over three years since his defeat to Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in July 2021, where he sustained a leg injury.
