Are you someone who prefers love over fights?

Well, newcomer to the amateur scene, Malcolm Harris, seems to be both.

Harris (0-0) did something unexpected in MMA on Friday during a ceremonial faceoff for 247 FC: Brawl in the Burgh 21.5. He surprised everyone by kissing his opponent Cam Jenkins (1-0) on the mouth directly during their pre-fight faceoff in Monroeville, Pa.

Jenkins was shocked by the bold move and reacted by quickly slapping Harris backhandedly.

Promoter Hunter Homistek managed to keep the situation under control, even though Harris was visibly upset and pushed him. The fighters eventually calmed down and completed their faceoff before going their separate ways.

One positive aspect of animosity in professional fighting is that conflicts can be resolved swiftly. For those curious to see how things unfold, 247 FC: Brawl in the Burgh 21.5 is happening on Saturday at the Monroeville Convention Center in Monroeville, Pa., and will be streamed on 247 Live.
