A new tag team match has been included in the lineup for WWE NXT Heatwave.
During the latest episode of WWE NXT on July 2, Jacy Jayne provided assistance to Jazmyn Nyx in securing a victory over Karmen Petrovic. Following the bout, Petrovic voiced her desire for payback to NXT General Manager Ava backstage. In response, Ava disclosed that a match had been organized for the Countdown show leading up to WWE NXT Heatwave.
Anticipating that her tag team partner Natalya would be competing, Petrovic was taken aback when Arianna Grace emerged instead. Grace highlighted the importance of unity as Canadians and suggested teaming up in their shared hometown of Toronto.
Grace took to Twitter to express her enthusiasm for the upcoming match, conveying her appreciation for having her aspirations realized.
