Welcome to Midnight Mania!

Dr. Paddy Pimblett, diagnosed UFC fighter Bobby Green with Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE) at midnight. Green changed his name to “King,” but Pimblett believes it’s a sign of mental decline due to past knockout losses.

Pimblett expressed, “No, his name is Bobby, lad. He was born Bobby, he was Christened Bobby, his parents call him Bobby…The fact that he’s changed his name at nearly 40 years of age shows that CTE is real.”

He added, “I do think it’s still affecting him because he got clipped with a few shots…I think he’s a little bit chinny now.”

The UFC 304 fight between Pimblett and Green is set for July 27 in Manchester, England. Pimblett aims to climb the lightweight rankings by defeating Green and extending his winning streak. Green, a tough opponent to take down, has recently shown good form in his fights.
