CM Punk will be making his comeback to the WWE ring at SummerSlam. He recently got the green light to compete again after recovering from a torn triceps that had kept him out since the Royal Rumble in January. Despite his break, Punk has been staying active on WWE programming, particularly in his ongoing rivalry with Drew McIntyre.
In a recent episode of WWE RAW on July 22nd, CM Punk declared his readiness to wrestle and threw down the challenge to McIntyre. In response, McIntyre engaged in some trash talk, hyping up the anticipation for their upcoming match as a lucrative showdown. The RAW General Manager, Adam Pearce, then confirmed that the two would square off at WWE SummerSlam, with Seth Rollins being chosen as the special referee for the encounter.
Rollins shared his enthusiasm for the impending showdown and mentioned his eagerness to maintain order and fairness during the highly awaited clash between McIntyre and Punk.
