The much-anticipated third fight between UFC women’s flyweight champion Alexa Grasso and Valentina Shevchenko is confirmed. Scheduled for September 14th at the Sphere in Las Vegas, this bout will be the co-main event of Noche UFC (UFC 306), as announced by UFC CEO Dana White on social media.

Grasso, representing Mexico, will proudly showcase her country on a card celebrating Mexican Independence Day. Shevchenko aims to defeat the current champion in their third showdown.

Their previous encounters saw Grasso win with a fourth-round rear-naked choke at UFC 285 in March 2023, followed by a closely-fought split draw at the first Noche UFC six months later. They also coached against each other on “The Ultimate Fighter 32.”

The Noche UFC card features other exciting matchups, including Champ Sean O’Malley vs. Merab Dvalishvili for the bantamweight title, Diego Lopes vs. Brian Ortega, and many more.
