This showdown stems from the unraveling tensions between the four former members of the Judgment Day group after WWE SummerSlam. The match was announced for the upcoming Bash in Berlin event on Saturday, August 31, following a confrontation on “WWE Raw.”
In a dramatic opening segment, Morgan and Mysterio interrupted Ripley in the ring, leading to a backstage altercation that ended with Priest defeating Carlito in a match. Following his victory, Priest was ambushed by World Tag Team Champions JD McDonagh and Finn Bálor, only to be rescued by Ripley. The night culminated in Priest and Ripley standing tall after Priest’s victory over McDonagh, with Mysterio attempting to intervene but being thwarted by Morgan.
