Dana White is starting to shape his vision for UFC 306 as the production details for the event at the Sphere venue in Las Vegas have emerged. The event is slated for September 14th and is being hailed by White as a special celebration of Mexican combat sports.

In an interview on The Pat McAfee Show, White mentioned that planning the production for such an event typically takes more than a year, but they are fast-tracking it in just four months. The fight night will feature a 10-bout card headlined by two title fights – UFC bantamweight champion Sean O’Malley battling Merab Dvalishvili and UFC women’s flyweight champion Alexa Grasso defending her title against Valentina Shevchenko in a trilogy showdown.

The Sphere venue, known for its remarkable 160,000 square-foot 16K-resolution wraparound screen, will be the host of the event, accommodating around 18,000 to 20,000 attendees. The event promises to be a grand affair, with UFC making a substantial investment and the chance to break gate receipts records.

White is thrilled about the event and the chance to exhibit what UFC has prepared. He stressed the importance of delivering an unforgettable experience on Mexican Independence Day at the Sphere and assured fans that it will be a show they will adore. The complete lineup for UFC 306 can be accessed on the official UFC website.
