Following the 2024 PFL Playoffs 2 event, UFC fighters Brendan Allen and Marvin Vettori were involved in a physical confrontation at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Fla. The incident unfolded on the casino floor and was captured in videos circulating on social media, showing the two fighters engaged in a scuffle.
Reports indicate that Vettori attempted to throw a punch at UFC light heavyweight Tuco Tokkos but missed, prompting Allen to intervene and exchange punches with Vettori. Vettori later posted a video on his Instagram Stories displaying no visible injuries from the altercation, accompanied by a caption boasting about his unbeaten status.
UFC CEO Dana White responded to the scuffle with a lighthearted remark on social media, joking that it would have been the highlight fight of the night had it occurred at the PFL event. The clash between Allen and Vettori stems from their scheduled bout at UFC Fight Night 240 in April, which was called off due to Vettori’s injury.
Following the canceled fight, Allen publicly criticized Vettori’s fighting skills and recounted a previous incident where Vettori allegedly avoided a face-to-face confrontation.
