Former UFC and Strikeforce fighter Benji Radach has sadly passed away at the age of 45. His family shared the news on Facebook, and MMA Fighting has confirmed his passing. The exact cause of his death has not been revealed.
Radach began his MMA journey in 2001 and had a successful career, which included competing in the UFC with a record of 1 win, 1 loss, and 1 no contest. He also fought in the IFL and Elite XC before transitioning to Strikeforce.
Apart from his fighting accomplishments, Radach made headlines in 2004 for thwarting a robbery attempt during breakfast with fellow UFC fighter Dennis Hallman. He bravely intervened by tackling the robber and disarming him.
