Orange Cassidy’s AEW debut has been set by CMLL for the upcoming CMLL 91st Aniversario on September 13. The event will see Cassidy teaming up with Rocky Romero and Satoshi Kojima to take on Ring of Honor TV Champion Atlantis Jr., Volador Jr., and Ultimo Guerrero. This marks Cassidy’s first match in Mexico, adding to his list of international wrestling experiences.
CMLL has been attracting AEW stars like Bryan Danielson, Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, and Matt Sydal who wrestled there in March. Recently, names such as MJF, the Lucha Brothers, PAC, and Kyle Fletcher have also made appearances at Arena Mexico.
Additionally, the Aniversario event will showcase Chris Jericho facing CMLL star Mistico, and possibly AEW star Willow Nightingale, the CMLL World Women’s Champion.
