There might be some news from Dana White about Conor McGregor’s next fight soon, but many fans are not completely convinced about the return of the famous fighter.

If you remember, McGregor was gearing up for a comeback fight earlier this year at UFC 303 against Michael Chandler. However, he suffered a broken toe, which forced him to step out of the octagon for the first time in his UFC career. The scheduled fight was canceled and hasn’t been rescheduled yet, even though both McGregor and Chandler are eager to compete.

Recently, White hinted at possible McGregor fight news in the upcoming weeks. While some speculate that the fight could be set for UFC 310 in December, others think the UFC might be delaying McGregor’s return to negotiate a better broadcast deal. Although it may seem unfair, the promotion has been known to engage in such practices.

Despite White’s enthusiasm about potentially announcing McGregor’s fight, many UFC fans remain doubtful. This skepticism was heightened when McGregor posted a video of himself sliding off the side of his yacht. After seeing the carefree video, some fans are starting to believe that McGregor might not step into the octagon again.

Feel free to watch the video above and read a few comments below:

“Why not put on the gloves and fight, buddy?”

“When will you slide onto a fight card?”

“Michael Chandler will fight Conor and then cash out.”

“Conor McGregor’s next excuse will be ‘I broke my back… spine.’”

“Great to see you using your toe again, it’ll be fully healed in another year or two.”

“Sliding towards retirement.”

“It looks like he won’t fight again.”

“Be careful not to injure yourself.”

“It’s sad, but it seems like your fighting days are over.”
