Cody Rhodes has stated that there are no immediate plans for a WWE match against Randy Orton.
Since Rhodes came back to the company, fans have been wondering about a possible showdown with Orton. Speculation grew after Rhodes became the Undisputed WWE Champion at WrestleMania 40, and some hints on TV added to the buzz.
Speaking on the WWE Bash in Berlin Post-Show, Rhodes talked about the chance of going up against Orton. He recognized the fan interest in the match but pointed out that many things would have to happen for it to become a reality. Rhodes highlighted his strong bond and friendship with Orton but made it clear that as of now, there are no set plans for the face-off.
Even though a Rhodes vs. Orton match is not confirmed, the potential for drama and their shared history could create an engaging storyline if it happens down the road.
