Tom Aspinall is gearing up for UFC 309 where Jon Jones will face Stipe Miocic for the heavyweight title on Nov. 16 at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Aspinall is excited to be part of the event either as a backup fighter or a keen spectator.
Sharing his enthusiasm on his YouTube channel, Aspinall said, “I’m thrilled it’s now official. Nov. 16, MSG, New York City. The heavyweight title fight is happening at last. We’re confirmed for it. I’ll definitely be there to watch these two great fighters go head to head.”
Although Aspinall is ready to step into the octagon if required, it’s uncertain if he’ll get a chance to fight the winner as Jones suggested this might be his final bout. Nevertheless, Aspinall remains positive about his championship aspirations and is willing to unify the title when the opportunity arises.
