On September 18, the viewership for AEW Dynamite saw a decline, drawing in 687,000 viewers and earning a 0.22 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. This marks a drop compared to the previous week’s episode that attracted 716,000 viewers. However, the demographic rating saw an increase from the previous week’s 0.21.

This episode of AEW Dynamite showcased Orange Cassidy’s victory over Chris Jericho in the opening match. Ricochet claimed a win against The Beast Mortos and then challenged Will Ospreay for the International Championship on the 5-year anniversary of AEW Dynamite. Yuka Sakazaki and Queen Aminata triumphed over Mariah May and Serena Deeb, setting the stage for a title defense as May will face Sakazaki at Grand Slam.

In the main event, Will Ospreay, Kyle Fletcher, and Konosuke Takeshita emerged victorious over The Elite in a trios matchup. As a result, Ospreay and Fletcher are set to challenge the Young Bucks for the AEW World Tag Team Titles at Grand Slam next week.
