Raymond Ford is gearing up to challenge Orlando Gonzalez for a world title at a different weight class on November 9. The match is scheduled for 10 rounds at Wells Fargo Arena, leading up to the main event featuring IBF world welterweight champion Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis and Karen Chukhadzhian. Also on the card by Matchroom Boxing, Jesse Rodriguez will defend his Ring Magazine junior bantamweight championship and WBC world title against Pedro Guevara. Fans can catch all three fights streaming live on DAZN.

Ford, who currently lives in Camden, New Jersey, will be competing in front of a hometown crowd. The 25-year-old left-handed boxer previously held the WBA world featherweight title and is now moving up to 130 pounds after considering it for some time. Gonzalez, from Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, enters the ring with a record of 23-2, including 13 knockouts. In his last fight on June 28, he defeated Jose Santos Gonzalez by knockout after the third round in a preparatory fight.

The upcoming battle between Ford and Gonzalez is expected to be a thrilling encounter as both fighters aim to leave their mark in the new weight division.
