The New Day has been a cornerstone of WWE’s tag team division for the past decade, but their story took a shocking turn on the December 2 episode of Monday Night RAW. The beloved group officially split after Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods ousted Big E from the faction in a heated promo. While fans are still reeling from the fallout, Kofi is keeping tight-lipped about what’s next for The New Day.

During an appearance on The Battleground Podcast, Kofi addressed the aftermath of the split but refused to reveal any details about the group’s future plans. “None of those details are ones I’m willing to share with you, you know what I’m saying? Every Monday night—find out,” Kofi teased.

Kofi added, “Every interview I’ve had this morning, everyone’s been trying to get the scoop, and that’s a good thing. You’re interested in The New Day and what’s happening next, right? Like, that’s what it’s all about.”

While dodging specifics, Kofi expressed excitement about the group’s potential moving forward. “For us to be on the catapult right now, about to launch forward into the future, that’s just so, you know, littered with uncertainty—in the best way possible. I think the opportunities for us are going to start ringing in, and we are more than ready to take the reins and just kill it like we always do.”

Kofi also didn’t hold back in poking fun at fans and interviewers who hoped to get insider information. “You thought you were special. You know, ‘Oh, you’ve been on the Battleground show a few times now. Maybe he’ll give us the scoop, maybe he’ll make me feel like I’m special.’ Ah, no. No, no. You’re just like everybody else. Just like everybody else—you’ll find out like everybody else.”

While Kofi’s comments leave fans guessing, one thing is clear: The New Day isn’t done shaking things up. Whether their next move involves rebuilding, reinventing, or something completely unexpected, fans will have to tune in every Monday night to see what happens next.
