UFC 311 in Los Angeles already has a stacked card with the promotion confirming numerous bouts for the Jan. 18 event at the new Intuit Dome.
The main and co-main events were announced on Wednesday, with lightweight champion Islam Makhachev defending his title against Arman Tsarukyan in a rematch in the headliner. Additionally, bantamweight champ Merab Dvalishvili will be facing Umar Nurmagomedov in the co-main event.
In addition to those two fights, the UFC also announced a new matchup pitting Renato Moicano against Beneil Dariush in a lightweight showdown between two of the top fighters in the division. Moicano has rattled off four straight wins, including an impressive showing against Benoit Saint Denis in his last outing, where he headlined the UFC’s return to Paris.
Meanwhile, Dariush is attempting to get back on track after dropping back-to-back fights to Tsarukyan and Charles Oliveira. This ended an eight-fight undefeated run that included wins over Mateusz Gamrot, Tony Ferguson, and Diego Ferreira.
