Trevor Lee was released from WWE earlier this year but has been gaining significant traction on the independent circuit by winning titles and building momentum. Known for making some bizarre remarks occasionally, he recently targeted The Rock over his fashion choice and has since doubled down on his stance.
While speaking to SHAK Wrestling, Trevor Lee was asked to comment on his tweet in which he expressed satisfaction at seeing The Rock “Take an L” after The Rock was named GQ Magazine’s Man of the Year.
Trevor Lee stood by his comments about The Rock, explaining that it was all intended as trolling, saying that’s the essence of Twitter. However, he criticized The Rock’s outfit, likening The Great One to a Fortnite character.
Lee elaborated that if this was the first “L” The Rock had ever taken, it would only highlight how much he admired everything else The Rock has accomplished. Despite admitting his lack of fashion knowledge, Lee conceded that The Rock managed to pull it off.
It is highly unlikely The Rock will ever respond to Trevor Lee’s remarks. Meanwhile, Lee admitted that he is open to returning to WWE one day, so whether that opportunity arises in the future remains to be seen.
