Penta El Zero Miedo made a surprise appearance at the latest set of AAA television tapings.
According to fans in attendance, Penta El Zero appeared at the tapings on December 7. He cut a promo and noted that he was taking time away from Mexican wrestling to make a career decision. He also mentioned that he would return to AAA someday.
AAA promoted Penta’s appearance on social media as well.
Penta El Zero recently entered free agency after his AEW contract expired. He had been with the company since 2019, and he won the tag titles and the trios titles during his time there. Penta’s brother and tag team partner Rey Fenix remains with AEW, and injury time was added to his contract.
Penta El Zero Miedo is a former AAA World Tag Team Champion and Latin American Champion, among other accolades.
