WWE Hall of Famer Booker T has achieved a tremendous amount in his career as a professional wrestler. However, he remains actively involved in the wrestling scene as a commentator on NXT, a role that compensates him generously. It’s not surprising, then, that this legend has recently acquired a Tesla Cybertruck.
In an episode of his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T disclosed that he recently bought a Tesla Cybertruck. After experiencing the thrill of driving it for a few days, he found it irresistible and noted how well it suits him, particularly as he advances in age. He highlighted that many older individuals opt for Teslas because of their self-driving capabilities and expressed that he’s starting to fit into that group as well.
Booker T further elaborated on his Cybertruck’s customization, mentioning that it’s currently receiving a satin black wrap and that he’s also equipped it with accessories like mud flaps. However, he did point out that the Cybertruck doesn’t come fully loaded with all desired features. For instance, wheel caps are not included, requiring separate purchase. He mentioned that the truck possesses numerous extra features that one needs to acquire to achieve their desired look.
“You know, I broke down, man. I broke down and we got the Cybertruck, man. I couldn’t help it, man. I rode around in it for a couple of days, and uh, it definitely suits me. It fits me, uh, as far as, you know, my size and everything too. You know, and I’m getting older too, you know, so to be able to have a car that could drive me around—uh, that’s why a lot of older people get Teslas because the car actually drives them. Yeah, so I’m falling into that category. But now, man, I’m excited. I’m excited to get back home. Right now, it’s in the wrap shop. It’s going to be satin black. You know, I went and got the mud flaps and all that stuff for it. You know, I’m buying all that.
The thing is, the Cybertruck—it’s like, uh, you know, buying one of these devices where you still have to buy all the extras. Yeah, I mean, it’s got so many damn extras. Just, like, for instance, the wheel caps. The wheel caps should come on the car, but with the Cybertruck, they don’t come. You gotta order them; they’re separate, you know what I mean? So, it’s a lot of bells and whistles that come along with this thing that don’t come with the actual truck, that you gotta actually go out there and purchase if you want it to look a certain way.”
One feature that Booker T finds particularly appealing is a front light bar with dynamic white lights. He is also contemplating additional accessories such as a bed divider and a front seating area where he can relax and enjoy music, expressing his enthusiasm for customizing his new truck.
“They got this one light bar that goes across the front, man, it’s sweet, right across the top, and, uh, just all white lights, and they actually dance. Oh man, say man, I gotta give me one of them. I gotta give me one. You, I mean, they got this little separation gimmick in the back for the back bed. I gotta get me one of those there. They got this one little seating area that you can put in the front of it, you know where you can just pop the hood, sit in the front of it, you know, pop, listen to the music. You know, it’s crazy, man. Uh, I’m loving it.”
Notably, WWE Superstars Sheamus, Jade Cargill, and Liv Morgan have also purchased Cybertrucks this year. Booker T thus joins a distinguished group of WWE personalities who own a Tesla Cybertruck, a fact he is undoubtedly proud of.
