Alex Pereira has expressed his belief that Jon Jones will be victorious in his upcoming fight.
The reigning heavyweight champion successfully defended his title for the first time by delivering a knockout to Stipe Miocic at UFC 309 on November 16.
Following the fight, ‘Bones’ wasted no time in discussing a potential matchup with Alex Pereira. However, Dana White has since stepped in, stating that a unification bout against interim heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall is the priority.
In light of this, Pereira has publicly backed Jon Jones in the highly anticipated match that has fans divided.

Pereira made an appearance at UFC 310 in Las Vegas on Saturday night.
Before witnessing flyweight champion Alexandre Pantoja secure a victory over Kai Asakura in the main event, the former kickboxer found time to sit down for an interview with TNT Sports.
During the interview, Pereira shared his prediction for the Jones vs. Aspinall showdown that is speculated for 2025.
“I think Jon Jones has a lot of experience on his side,” he remarked.
“There are people who say, ‘Aspinall this, Aspinall that,’ but in the end, it comes down to experience.
“Jon Jones is a seasoned guy; he’s been there, so I think he wins.”
Tom Aspinall provides negotiations update
Initially, Aspinall was concerned that he might be overlooked by Jon Jones, widely regarded as the greatest fighter in MMA history.
However, he has grown increasingly optimistic about the prospect of facing Jones in the near future.
“I’m very confident that it’s going to happen,” Aspinall stated in an interview with Bloody Elbow.
“Obviously, there are a lot of things I’ve got to keep under wraps. I’ve had discussions with the higher-ups in the UFC, and they are also very confident it’s going to happen.
“I can’t speak for Jon’s side, but based on my discussions and the UFC’s perspective, it looks very promising.”
