Nate Landwehr has issued a social media video statement following his loss at UFC 310.

The fan-favorite featherweight was expected to be in a Fight of the Year contender against Doo Ho Choi during the opening bout for the final pay-per-view show of 2024, which took place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Saturday.

However, ‘The Korean Superboy’ was able to dominate the fight from the very first bell and ultimately forced a TKO finish by trapping his opponent in the crucifix position midway through the final frame.

Nate Landwehr has now publicly addressed his UFC 310 defeat and the referee’s decision to step in.

Nate Landwehr was quick to give fans an update on social media after falling short at UFC 310.

‘The Train’ showcased his battle scars as he reflected on the 24th fight of his exciting MMA career.

“Yo! It is what it is, man. I knew I was down two rounds,” Landwehr stated.

“I came out and swung at his a**. It’s all I could do. I got caught in a crazy position. It was not a bad stoppage. I mean, I probably wasn’t going to go out, but the referee saved me. I was just going to be stuck there. I tried my best to get out and put on an exciting fight for the fans. I’ll be back.

“Obviously, I’m disappointed and lumped up a little bit. It was a fistfight, for sure. Nothing else to say. S***!”

Landwehr captioned the video: “Obviously disappointed but not broken. Shout out to all my people that feel my pain. I’ll heal up and see what is next. Tried my best to put on a show for y’all. I still hold my head high.”

Landwehr recently revealed that his UFC 310 camp had been impacted by a family tragedy.

The 36-year-old and his wife are currently trying to have a baby. They are going through the process of IVF and have recently suffered a miscarriage after falling pregnant.

“It’s just like a fight, man,” Landwehr told Middle Easy. “You’ve just got to keep fighting.

“We had to go through IVF, so they’ve got to go in, they’ve got to strip my wife’s eggs, and they fertilize them.

“So we ended up with X amount of embryos that were viable. We had five boy embryos and one girl embryo.

“We tried to put the girl in a little bit ago. She attached, and she just didn’t quite make it. Her name was going to be June Marie.”
