Carl Froch asked Terence Crawford who would win in a fight between Froch and Jake Paul. Crawford picked Froch, saying he has more experience and is a real boxer.
Froch, a former super-middleweight world champion, has been talking a lot about Paul lately. He’s not happy that people call Paul a boxer and doesn’t like the opponents Paul chooses to fight.
Paul just beat Mike Tyson in a fight that got a lot of people talking. Tyson came out of retirement at 58 years old for an eight-round bout. Paul won, but many think it wasn’t a fair match-up because of Tyson’s age.
The back-and-forth between Froch and Paul has been heating up. Froch even said he could knock Paul out with one hand tied behind his back.
When Froch met Crawford, he asked him who’d win in a fight between them. Crawford, who used to be the top welterweight and is considered one of the best boxers around, didn’t hesitate to pick Froch.
In an interview with Froch on Fighting, Crawford said: “Froch.” He then explained his choice: “Jake Paul has gotten better with his boxing skills. I respect him, everything he has done to now, but you’re too experienced, and you’re a real fighter, not some fighter who is short and underweight.”
Crawford gave Paul credit for getting better at boxing, but he thinks Froch’s boxing background gives him the edge.
Tommy Fury, the only boxer to beat Paul so far, wants another shot at him. But for now, it looks like the war of words between Froch and Paul will keep going.
