Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is just over 24 hours away from the highly anticipated UFC Tampa mixed martial arts (MMA) event, scheduled to take place tomorrow night (Sat., Dec. 14, 2024) on ESPN2 and ESPN+ from inside Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida. UFC Tampa features a welterweight main event between Top 10 title contenders Colby Covington and Joaquin Buckley, marking a five-round headliner with significant title implications for early 2025 and beyond.
Before the ESPN2 and ESPN+ live streams kick off this weekend in “The Sunshine State,” which will also include the featherweight showdown between Cub Swanson and Billy Quarantillo, all 26 fighters must step on the scale to qualify. Please note that like most stateside athletic commissions, the Florida Athletic Commission (FAC) allows a one-pound allowance in all non-title fights.
