Christine Vicens, who remains undefeated, believes she is the fighter capable of finally dethroning BKFC World Women’s Flyweight Champion Christine Ferea.
“I am the one to beat her,” asserts the Miami native as she prepares for her matchup against Ferea at BKFC on DAZN: Hollywood on December 21 at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, FL, broadcast live across the globe on DAZN.
Vicens doesn’t hold back in acknowledging Ferea as the most formidable female fighter in BKFC history. She understands that securing a victory against Ferea, who holds a 9-1 record as she enters her fifth BKFC title defense, will not be an easy feat. However, she’s determined to make a statement in Hollywood.
“I know that I have all the tools to win — mentally and physically — and I’m ready to bring home the belt,” Vicens declares.
In addition to Ferea’s renowned toughness and technical prowess, Vicens admires the resilience Ferea has built throughout a challenging life.
“While our backgrounds may differ, I’ve been a fighter for as long as I can remember. That experience builds character and shapes you into the fighter you need to be in BKFC,” explains Vicens.
The championship belt represents more than just personal glory for Vicens; it stands for her family as well.
“It’s going to be amazing. I’ve envisioned this moment countless times. It will be particularly special because my children will be there,” shares Vicens, a wife and mother of two boys.
“My kids didn’t attend my first fight because they were too young. They saw the bruises afterward, but they wanted to witness the belt. They wanted to see that prize, and at that moment, something within me ignited. Winning the belt has become my ultimate goal,” Vicens comments.
