Chaos erupted following the conclusion of WWE’s Saturday Night’s Main Event, as Kevin Owens attacked Cody Rhodes and subsequently engaged in an altercation with Triple H.

After Cody Rhodes defeated Kevin Owens to retain his Undisputed WWE Championship, executing a Cross Rhodes on a chair brought into the ring by Owens, the reigning champion began to celebrate with the crowd. Rhodes was preparing to address the audience as the show came to a close when Owens, having hit his breaking point, attacked him from behind.

Footage captured by audience members inside Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum showed Owens picking up Rhodes and delivering a package piledriver on the superstar. The crowd watched in shock as Owens stood triumphantly, grabbed Rhodes’ new winged eagle championship, and then made his exit.

Reaching the top of the ramp, Owens posed with the championship belt, acknowledging the audience. It was then that Triple H appeared, slapping the belt out of Owens’ hand. It was a chaotic end to the event, setting the stage for an intriguing follow-up on the upcoming Monday Night RAW.
