Francesco Ricchi is back.
After 19 months away from the ring, the former BKFC World Middleweight Champion is set to return to action on Saturday. He will face Blake LaCaze at BKFC on DAZN: Hollywood, hosted at the renowned Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, FL. The match will be broadcasted live worldwide on DAZN.
“It feels great to be back,” says the Italian-born fighter who now resides in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
“I’m very relieved to be back in there, but I’ll be much more relieved with the result,” Ricchi adds.
Ricchi is confident in securing his sixth BKFC victory this Saturday. While he has respect for LaCaze, he is eager to make a strong statement with his much-anticipated return to the Squared Circle.
“I’m going to be aggressive right from the start,” he states.
“I’m determined to prove that I still belong at the top of the division. My plan is to lead with aggression and aim for a finish in the second or third round. However, I won’t be forcing the issue. I just don’t believe he can handle the pressure I’ll be putting on.”
Now that Ricchi is back, he wants to make up for lost time.
“I’d love to fight five times in 2025 if BKFC will have me,” he declares. “I’d fight every month if they let me.”
