Former world champion Kell Brook believes that Tyson Fury deserves a win in his rematch against WBA, WBO, and WBC heavyweight titleholder Oleksandr Usyk.
In Brook’s opinion, “The Gypsy King” edged out the victory by the narrowest of margins.
“I think Fury performed much better in the second fight. For me, the fight turned out to be close. In my opinion, Tyson was even ahead by one round. Some people say he lost, but I saw that there were rounds that could have gone both ways. I counted that after the fight was over, Tyson led by a one-round difference,” Brook said in an interview with the YouTube channel Seconds Out.
Recall that on December 21, Usyk defeated Fury in the rematch by unanimous decision of the judges (116-112, 116-112, 116-112).
